"html": "<p>Omarchy packages Arch Linux, a Hyprland desktop, and a very specific way of working. David Heinemeier Hansson, DHH, pitches it as a Linux distro built with AI agents in mind. <strong>Its value lies in the decisions it saves you when setting up your environment.</strong> The question is whether those decisions match yours.</p>\n<div class=\"mu-tldr\"><div class=\"mu-tldr__header\">What you need to know</div><div class=\"mu-tldr__body\"><ul><li>Arch-based distro with a Hyprland desktop and a heavily keyboard-driven workflow.</li><li>The current project lives on the Quattro branch and bundles configuration, apps, and agent access.</li><li>The free system does not magically include AI subscriptions.</li><li>Compatibility with your laptop and your apps matters more than launch-day download counts.</li></ul></div><div class=\"mu-tldr__verdict\"><strong>Verdict:</strong> Compelling for anyone who wants a coherent Linux setup out of the box. I wouldn't swap out an agency's machines on launch-day hype alone.</div></div>\n<div class=\"mku-caja-roundup\"><p>This tool is included in these collections: <a href=\"https://soymarketingultra.com/en/skills-for-claude-code-codex-and-coding-agents/\">Skills for Claude Code, Codex and Coding Agents by Task</a></p></div>\n<h2>What we reviewed</h2><p>This update cross-references the current website and manual, a video analysis, and first-hand experiences on Reddit and GitHub. <strong>We did not install Omarchy on a test machine</strong>, so we are not publishing our own figures on battery life, performance, or hardware compatibility.</p>\n<figure class=\"mu-captura wp-block-image\"><img width=\"1400\" height=\"920\" src=\"https://soymarketingultra.com/wp-content/uploads/mku-resena-omarchy-home-20260911.png\" alt=\"Omarchy official website showing download and demo access\" loading=\"lazy\" style=\"max-width:100%;height:auto\"><figcaption>Screenshot of <a href=\"https://omarchy.org\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">the Omarchy website</a>, September 11, 2026. The presentation captures the project's pitch; it does not guarantee how it will perform on any given machine.</figcaption></figure>\n<h2>What the package actually buys you</h2><p>Configuring Linux exactly the way you like can be genuinely enjoyable. It can also eat up the time you had set aside for actual work. Omarchy offers a shared set of choices: desktop, shortcuts, themes, and tools. The <a href=\"https://github.com/omacom/omarchy/tree/quattro/manual\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">official manual</a> covers navigation, apps, updates, networking, and suspend. It is not just an ISO with a recognizable wallpaper.</p><p>That cuts both ways. If their approach to window management clicks with you, you can hit the ground running with a lot of groundwork already done. If every decision rubs you the wrong way, you may end up dismantling the very configuration you came to take advantage of. Before asking whether it is \"the best Linux,\" watch a full desktop walkthrough.</p><p>The agents do not make the system autonomous or replace provider accounts. Being able to ask for help changing a setting does not mean every suggested change is correct. Keep a record of previous values and understand which file or service is being modified.</p>\n<h2>A video review that doesn't buy the whole package</h2><p><strong>Chris Titus Tech</strong> reviews Omarchy in English. The menus and themes section starts at 3:40; security and bundled software at 7:00; the X11 vs. Wayland discussion at 10:45. His value is in what he shows and questions, not in turning his personal preference into a universal recommendation.</p>\n<div class=\"mu-video\" style=\"position:relative;width:100%;aspect-ratio:16/9;margin:24px 0\"><iframe src=\"https://www.youtube-nocookie.com/embed/9d9PQ1hrhBk?start=220\" title=\"Omarchy review by Chris Titus Tech\" loading=\"lazy\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture\" allowfullscreen style=\"position:absolute;inset:0;width:100%;height:100%;border:0\"></iframe></div>\n<figure class=\"mu-captura wp-block-image\"><img width=\"1303\" height=\"732\" src=\"https://soymarketingultra.com/wp-content/uploads/mku-resena-omarchy-video-20260911.png\" alt=\"Chris Titus Tech commenting on Omarchy's desktop and themes\" loading=\"lazy\" style=\"max-width:100%;height:auto\"><figcaption>Frame from the <a href=\"https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9d9PQ1hrhBk&amp;t=220s\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Chris Titus Tech review</a>. He's three days in and calls the post his first impressions. It's a signal of accessibility, not a proof of long-term stability.</p>\n<blockquote><p>«Still struggling on the windows management.»</p><cite><a href=\"https://www.reddit.com/r/omarchy/comments/1vwxrlo/my_first_impressions_of_omarchy_as_a_lifetime/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">gotshoo, in the same thread</a></cite></blockquote><p>Interested in the AI assistance, but still fighting window management. The learning curve does not disappear just because installation was fast.</p>\n<p>On GitHub, <strong>mrelph</strong> <a href=\"https://github.com/omacom/omarchy/issues/11332\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">documents intermittent resume failures on an HP EliteBook 845 G10</a>, with versions and logs included. That report does not mean every laptop will fail. It does illustrate what you should test on YOURS: close the lid, open it back up, recover the network, and reconnect an external display.</p>\n<figure class=\"mu-captura wp-block-image\"><img width=\"1400\" height=\"920\" src=\"https://soymarketingultra.com/wp-content/uploads/mku-resena-omarchy-issue-20260911.png\" alt=\"Suspend and resume bug report on an HP EliteBook on GitHub\" loading=\"lazy\" style=\"max-width:100%;height:auto\"><figcaption>Screenshot of <a href=\"https://github.com/omacom/omarchy/issues/11332\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">issue #11332</a>. A case for one specific machine, open at the time of review; not a failure rate for Omarchy as a whole.</figcaption></figure>\n<h2>How I'd test it before switching</h2><p>Start with the current installation manual and a test machine. An earlier version of this review suggested a RAM amount as if it applied to everyone and mentioned any Linux-compatible PC. That is too broad: the drivers and software you need change the equation entirely.</p>\n<div style=\"max-width:100%;overflow-x:auto\"><table><thead><tr><th>Test</th><th>Why it matters</th></tr></thead><tbody><tr><td>Shortcuts, windows, and dual monitors</td><td>This is the flow you will repeat hundreds of times a day</td></tr><tr><td>Video call, microphone, and screen share</td><td>A slick desktop means nothing if a meeting falls apart</td></tr><tr><td>Suspend, resume, and network switching</td><td>Laptop problems tend to surface away from the desktop</td></tr><tr><td>Mission-critical apps</td><td>The web version does not always replace the desktop app</td></tr><tr><td>Update and recovery</td><td>You need to know how to get back to work if an update breaks something</td></tr></tbody></table></div>\n<p>A virtual machine lets you get familiar with the desktop layout. It will not necessarily replicate real GPU behavior, battery draw, or suspend behavior on your laptop. For a genuine migration decision, you need that second test on the actual machine you would be using.</p>\n<h2>Does it make sense for marketing teams?</h2><p>For anyone automating reports, scripting integrations, or running terminal-based agents, it could be a comfortable base. For a team that depends on desktop apps available on other platforms, the switch adds a migration that may not solve any pressing problem.</p><p>I would not assume it saves everyone hours. I would run a normal workday: review campaigns, prep a meeting, edit a document, run a script, and present results. I would note where it speeds things up and where it forces you to find a workaround. That inventory is worth more than a download count.</p>\n<h2>My verdict</h2><p>Omarchy has a recognizable pitch and documentation that lets you explore it properly. <strong>I would try it for its way of working, not because AI is in the headline.</strong> User feedback shows both newcomer excitement and real friction with windows and hardware.</p><p>If you have already been thinking about switching to Linux, it is worth a look. If your current setup works and you are not looking to change, there is no rush. The best distro still has to let you actually finish the work.</p>\n<script type=\"application/ld+json\" data-mku-schema=\"review\">{\"@context\":\"https://schema.org\",\"@graph\":[{\"@type\":\"SoftwareApplication\",\"name\":\"Omarchy\",\"applicationCategory\":\"BusinessApplication\",\"operatingSystem\":\"Linux (desktop, Arch-based); test VM on macOS and Windows\",\"url\":\"https://omarchy.org\"}]}</script>",
